Mario and Crash's Mansion Chapter 5

Chapter 5: A horrible discovery:

Mario and Crash went back to the mansion and unlocked the door at the end of the long hallway. They take care of the ghosts and the Courtyard lit up. They hear something.

"Help!"

"Free us!"

"What was that?" Crash asked.

"I don't know. But it came from that well." Mario said.

They saw a ladder leading down. After they climbed down, they start looking around.

"Hey-a, there's light at the end of that tunnel." Mario said pointing to a small light in a lion's statue. As they peeped through, what Mario saw shocked him. Wario and Waluigi are there cackling.

"Hahaha! This is perfect! Now the Boos are working for us." Wario said. "We have no problem getting our revenge on Mario and Luigi!"

"Don't forget." Waluigi reminded him. "that the bandicoot is with him also."

"Then we scare the pants of him too!"

"So Wario and Waluigi are behind all this!" Mario snarled.

"But by all means, if they leave, they'll never save their friends." Wario smirked as he turned to a far wall.

Mario and Crash looked there too and what they saw shocked them. Luigi and Spyro were there, trapped in paintings, banging on the frames for help.

"HELP!!!" Spyro screamed.

"GET US OUTTA HERE!!" Luigi shouted.

Mario and Crash watched in horror and backed away.

"H...How could they?" Crash asked.

"They'll pay for this." Mario said.

After getting the key from the well, they climbed up and a talk.

"Wario and Waluigi...Who would've thought they'd be behind all this!" Mario said.

"Hey, I was sure that Luigi and Spyro had lost their things." Crash said. "Luigi's hat, Spyro's friendship necklace which I made for him, Luigi's glove, a crystal, and a star."

"And not only that." Mario said as he got something from the birdhouse. "A letter."

"Hang on a second." Mario said as he rushed off somewhere. Crash was about to give him a strange look until he returned with Luigi's hat.

"I found it in the Laundry Room, in the washing machine. It seems it was washed not too long ago."

"So that's two clues." Crash said. "We might as well get the others."

Mario noticed the key will open the Rec Room. They arrived to find some huge weights lifting up on their own. Then they noticed it was not lifting up on it's own. Crash grabbed the Game Boy Horror.

"Biff Atlas. "This kind of Bodybuilder loves muscles and lilies. Why lilies? They symbolize purity." Lilies? Like lily pads?"

"Hmm..." Mario said as he punched a punching bag knocking Biff over. "I spotted his weakness. Crash, grab a punching bag."

They did so until Biff was knocked out and Crash sucked him into his machine. After capturing another Boo, Mario got a key for Area 3. They climbed up the stairs to see a door on fire.

"Fire!" Crash gasped.

"Crash, you know what to do." Mario said.

Crash put out the fire with his water powers.

"I'm starting to get used to this." Crash said. "Let's see where this door goes."

It appeared to be a Tea Room. Some ghosts appeared and when they were sucked up, a white chest appeared. After capturing their 18th Boo, Crash takes a look around until; he was flipped in the air and landed on the ceiling.

"Crash, you manic." Mario called. "Get down from there!"

"But how?" Crash asked as he walked along the roof until he came upon a red and blue sticker and he flipped down to the table where the chest is. He opened it and a white coin came out. Crash picked it up.

"Mario, what did I get?" Crash asked.

"Ice powers!" Mario said. "that's an elemental medal, Crash! Now you control both water and ice!"

"Cool!" Crash said as he sucked up an ice ghost. "Let's use it on someone."

"Well, the Bathroom is a good start." Mario said.

They walked along the dark corridor until they appeared in the Bathroom. They saw someone in the shower with the curtains closed. At first, Crash thought it was a pretty until Mario showed him what he found out who was in the shower with the Game Boy Horror.

"Miss Petunia." Mario said. "Urgh. Horrible Body. "The Miss Ghost runner-up from six years ago. She hasn't had much modeling work lately." I'd hate to be in her shoes."

"Really?" Crash said as he opened the shower curtains. Sure enough, a fat women ghost was there. Crash spayed ice on her and captured her. The key they got was to the Billard's Room.

"Let's go to the room across the hall." Crash said. "Just to see if there's another ghost in there."

They crossed the hall and went into Nana's Room. They saw another ghost in there.

"Here it is. Nana." Mario said. "According to this "She's still knitting the scarf she never finished in life. It now stretches to 871 feet." Momma-Mia."

"But for who?" Crash asked.

"I don't know." Mario said.
